A shower in honor of Mrs. Josie Thureby was given Friday night of lart week. A good program was enjoyed en-joyed by all present. She received many useful gifts. Refreshments were served. The Soartdom club and their husbands hus-bands were entertained at the home cf Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Christen-fen Christen-fen cn January ?6th in honor of their ninth wedding anniversary and also the birthday of Darwin Christensen. Four tables of Five Hundred were played. Clifford Bradley and Mrs. James Anderson won high score prizes and Mrs. Kenneth Christensen and John Anderson An-derson the consolation. Luncheon was served to sixteen guests. Mrs. Artimesa Andersons, who has br-en seriously sick at her home, is improving.
