Mrs. Hulda Allred and son Hugh are spending the present week in Pleasant Grove as guests in the Mart Walker home. Robert Brough left Sunday for a second treatment by an eye specialist spec-ialist in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Louise Christensen and Mrs. Faun Christensen visited on Monday with Mr. and Mrs. O. N. Lur.d at Nephi. M s. Laura Peterson R senkrantz of Fairivew is in Spring City visiting vis-iting with relatives and friends this week. Mrs. Sarah Ann Beck is again home after visiting the fere part of the summer with Bishbp and Mrs. Nephi Propps at Midway. In compliment to her anut Mrs. Brigham Griffith of Holladay. Mrs. Ruth Osbcrne entertained Wednesday Wed-nesday evening at her home for twenty-six relatives. Mrs. Griffith Griff-ith left for her home the next day after a short visit in Spring City. Alden Nielsen and family of California visited : the past week with Mr. Nielson's sister, Mrs. Enid Baxter and other relatives in our city. After the completion of the new municipal swimming' pocl it was officially offi-cially opened Saturday at 3 p. m: In the absence of the city mayor, City Councilman Lamont Jensen presented the pool to the citizens. Reed H. , Allred read the instructions instruc-tions from' the State Board of Health. The Junior high school band under the direction of Ernest Terry, gave a ccricert and the swimming pool was declared open. Nelden Jensen was the first boy to plunge into' its clear, cold water. The work has been done by W. P. A. and the town of Spring City. The p:ol is located just south of the public school. Mrs. Ila A. Williams of Idaho Falls, Idaho, is visiting her .parents .par-ents Mr. and Mrs. N. L. Acord Jr. Mrs. Wallace Greaves of Eureka is here visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John S. Blain. Mrs. Bill Anderson and daughter of Salt Lake City are guests at the John F. Justensen heme. Mrs. John Edmunds of Salt Lake City is visiting this week at the home of Elgent Covert. Cecil Anderson and Bennie Smith of Salt Lake City were weekend guests at the home of Mrs. Irene Smith. They were accompanied ac-companied heme by Mrs. Anderson and daugVr whe have visited at the Smith home for the past two months. Edward F. Allred is again home after spending the summer months with his children in Price and Spring Canyon. He was accompanied accomp-anied here by Mr. and Mrs. Archie Livingston who visited over the weekend) with relatives. Earl Jensen has moved his family fam-ily to Park City where he has em-nlovrnent.
