Show Johnsons Meet Son in New York After LDS Mission Royle Johnson is home after spending 30 months in the LDS mission field in Denmark. Elder Johnson was met in New York by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Johnson and children, Paulette, Steven, and Roland, who left here March 1 and drove to New York, where they met Royle on March 7. The family enjoyed sightseeing in New York and drove on and visited visit-ed Washington D.C. and Gettysburg, Gettys-burg, Niagara Falls, Palmyra and the Hill Cumorah. Other places of church interest visited were Kirtland, Nauvoo and Carthage, and after a very pleasant pleas-ant two weeks trip arrived home Sunday. Elder Johnson received his release re-lease in February and spent some time touring Europe, before setting sett-ing soil for home. Among the highlights high-lights of the tour were Rome, Venice, Amsterdam, and the Temple at Bern, Switzerland. They visited France and Brussels, Brus-sels, Belgium and England where at South Hampton, he embarked for home on March 2. |
