Show Cadmus Club Elects Officers At Last Meeting Cadmus Club met at the home of Mrs. Calvin Walker Monday evening even-ing for the election of officers and to enjoy a bit of Hebrew Literature. Litera-ture. President Beulah Bradley conducted con-ducted the meeting. Mrs. Elia Jackson offered the invocation and Margaret Hayes of the educational education-al committee introduced the program. pro-gram. Helen Wadley reviewed the beautiful "Story of the Palms" by Henry Van Dyke. It is a story full of philosophies and human experiences exper-iences written in a form of He- brew sacred poetry. The Legislative Council report was given by Geneve Dalton on the Narcotic bill and the plans made at the child guidance clinic. The new officers chosen to serve for the year are: president, Margaret Mar-garet Hayes; vice president, Helen Hel-en Hadley; recording secretary, Lucille Walker;. corresponding secretary, sec-retary, Phyllis Thomson; treasurer, treasur-er, Laura Cromar; educational committee, Carol Wells, chairman; Maymetta Johnson and Ella Jackson. Those enjoying the evening besides be-sides those already mentioned were Mesdames Cumorah Cullimore, Ina Page, Carol Jaynes, Ora Thorne, Winnifred Adamson, Faye Bellis-ton, Bellis-ton, Lucille Hillman, Dorice Rogers, Rog-ers, Afton Miller, Rose Hillman, Lurena Wamick, Effie Adams, and a guest, Mrs. Han-y Wadley.
