Show BYU Coed Chosen Miss Utah National Guard A Brigham Young University coed has been chosen to reign over this year's social events of 4,000 Utah National Guardsmen. The brunette Miss Utah National Nation-al Guard will be attended by 19 year-old Diane Nuttall, 1273 Kensington Ken-sington Ave., Salt Lake City, and Carol Jean Leggett, 18, Brigham City. The regal trio will reign over the Utah Guardsmens principal Military Mili-tary Ball, March 25, at the Rainbow Rain-bow Randevu, Salt Lake City. The Salt Lake Ball will be one of 25 staged by the Utah Guard this month throughout the state. The pretty BYU speech and drama major won her crown at the Hotel Utah March 12 and 13. Judging Judg-ing system closely paralleled that of the Miss Utah Pageant and Miss America contest. Miss Schoenfeld and the other 20 contestants represented Army and Air Guard units appearing before be-fore the judges in formal,' street wear, and bathing suit, and gave a three-minute talent exhibit. Prizes will include a whit-gold wrist watch for Miss Utah National Nation-al Guard and a $25.00 Government Govern-ment Defense bond each for the co-equal attendants.
