Show Wanda Wilkinson Becomes Bride of Kay W. Robbins in Tempi e Ceremony In an impressive ceremony at the Salt Lake LDS Temple, Wanda Wilkinson became the bride of Kay W. Robbins. Elder John B. Hawkes of the Temple presidency officiated Witnessing the rites were the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Er-rol Er-rol Robbins, Mrs. Marie McDonald, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Robbins, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Robbins, Mr. and Mrs. Alva Larson and Mrs. H. E. Bradley. After the temple ceremnoy, the party was joined by the bride's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wilkinson Wilk-inson and were guests of the groom's parents, at a wedding breakfast. In the evening of the same day, the young couple were honored at a wedding reception at the Sixth-Seventh Sixth-Seventh Ward House in Orem. Assisting the newlyweds in receiving re-ceiving relatives and friends were parents of the bride and groom, and the bridal party, matron of honor, Mrs. Kennie Lee McDonald, McDon-ald, sister of the bride; other attendants at-tendants were Colleen Larson, Car-ma Car-ma Fiyer, Barbara Ann Robbins and Beth Ash. Darrell Frampton stood as best man. The bride was charming in lace over taffeta, fashioned with full skirt, fitted bodice, below ithe elbow sleeves and fingertip sneer illusion illus-ion veil. -She carried a white orchid or-chid circled with pink roses. Her attendants wore similar gowns of pink cotton and held bouquets bou-quets of split carnations. Honored guests were grandparents, grandpar-ents, Mrs. Harriet Backus, and Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Robbins. They, with the mothers of the young couple, pinned on corsages of split carnations. Greeting guests at the door were Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Robbins and Mr. and Mrs. Jay Wilkinson. Glenda Adams handled the guest book. Harley Gillman emceed the following fol-lowing program : Toast to the bride by Mrs. Jane Elsmore; toast to the groom, by Darrell Frampton. A vocal duet Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wilkinson and a number by their children. Pantomime number by Donnie Miner, Gayle Poreell and two accordion numbers toy Del Badham. The gift display was arranged by Evelyn Wilkinson and Roena Fillerup with Hal and Gary Robbins Rob-bins and Linda Fillerup gift bearers. bear-ers. Yionng ladies who served were Gay Lynne Hooley, Sue Black, and LeAnn Smith. The newlyweds have returned from a short 'honeymoon and are at home in an apartment on Second Sec-ond East. |
