Show Mrs. Ella Tomlinson Dies Tuesday In Pocatello, Idaho Mrs. Ella Slaugh Tomlinson, 68, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, at a hospital hos-pital in Pocatello, Idaho, of a heart ailment. She was stricken while visiting her daughter, Mrs. J. Fes-tus Fes-tus Monson at Aberdeen, Idaho. Mrs. Tomlinson was born Dec. 25, 1883, to John and Eleanor Backus Slaugh. She attended school and spent all her entire life here in Pleasant Grove. Very active in church circles, she was for many years president of the First Ward Relief Society and also a visiting teacher. She married James Tomlinson fifty years ago. Her husband with the following sons and daughters survive: Mrs. J. Festus (Florence) Monson; Mrs. Ernest (Alta) Landvatter, both of Aberdeen, Idaho; Mrs. Wallace (Cora) Kirk, East Eli, Nevada; Mrs. Royden (Reva) Noakes of Rivcrton; John and William Tomlinson, Tom-linson, Aberdeen, Idaho and Dean A. Tomlinson, Pleasant Grove. She had 37 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving surviv-ing are two brothers, William and Frank Slaugh of Aberdeen; two sisters, Gertrude S. Becker of Lyman, Ly-man, Wyo., and Nettie S. Phillips rjf Aberdeen. Funeral services are tentatively set for Friday and will be announced announ-ced by Olpin Mortuary. Lewis E. Olpin accompanied by Mrs. Olpin drove to Pocatello Wednesday to bring the body home. |
