So these new OPS regulations are designed to do this, not suddenly, sudden-ly, but gradually step by step, with the minimum of dislocation in the vast beef industry. That's the reason rea-son the reductions are spread over a long period, thus giving feeders and others who have bought cattle at high prices time to move them out ahead of the later reductions. The big break will be for you consumer-buyers, when that happy day arrives when you will pay 10 cents less per pound than you are now! Do you know what that will mean?
