Paul In Salt Lake Temple The Salt Lake Temple was the I setting for the wedding of Miss Colleen Ball, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Ball of Lehi, and Jay Russell Paul of PI. Grove. Mr. Paul is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George L. Paul. The ceremony was performed per-formed Wednesday, November 25. Mr. and Mrs. Paul were hosts at a wedding breakfast at the Doll House, following the ceremony. Friends greeted the newlyweds at a reception in the Second ward church Friday evening. Pink and white was the color scheme throughout. White mums ' and pink carnations combined in an attractive background with tall . eendelhra and ferns. A tiered cake roses and camellias. Mrs. Paul, senior, chose an orchid model with corsage of yellow roses and vanda orchids. Best man was Lyle Christiansen. Christian-sen. Gary Marshall and DeVere Fowler were ushers. Mr. and Mrs. George R. Paul and Mr. and Mrs. Arlin Miller greeted the guests at the door. Miss Barbara Johnson cared for the guest book. Gifts were arranged by Mrs. Jay Whitman, Mrs. Leo Roberts and Mrs. Leo Ball. Stephen Paul, Craig Miller and Robert and Ronald, Ron-ald, the Whitman twins, assisted. Valdis Sabey, Deanna Davis, Evelyn Eve-lyn Roberts, Ann Whitman and with wedding bells and tiny bride and groom was accented by a heart shaped candelbra with red roses. Flowers were arranged by Mrs. Mable Jones. The bride was lovely in a model of white slipper satin, nylon net and lace. Dainty points which finished fin-ished the long sleeves were repeated repeat-ed in the line of the bodice which was completed with a demure Peter Pet-er Pan collar. A halo tiara supported suppor-ted the veil of nylon net, fingertip finger-tip length. Two large white orchids with red rosebuds composed the bridal bouquet. The attendants wore pastel blue and yellow, respectively and carried carr-ied basket bouquets of vanda or-ehio or-ehio Miss Janet Whitman of Bonnie Ball served the retresn-ments retresn-ments which were catered by Jay Haws. Miss Anita Lou Miller played a background of piano music during the receiving. Parley Christiansen Christian-sen was master of ceremonies. Appearing Ap-pearing on the program were, Ruby Fugal, toast; Deanna Wad-ley, Wad-ley, tap dancing; JoAnn Colledge, pantomime, and LaDean Walker, reading. A vocal solo by Mrs. Ar-lene Ar-lene Okey was accompanied by her mother, Mrs. Eva Carson. A song by Dean and Richard Deveraux was accompanied by Mrs. Mary Deveraux. The newlyweds are making a home in Lehi. Mr. Paul is employed employ-ed at the Geneva Steel Plant. Richmond stood as maid of honor for her cousin, -with Miss Patricia Larson, Karlyn Evans and Marie Parker. Tiny flower girls were Sharon Paul and Cathleen Crystal. The mother of the bride wore royal blue with corsages of red |
