Show Funeral Services For George Frisby Held In Heber Funeral services were held in Heber City Second ward chapel for George William Frisby, Monday, Mon-day, Nov. 23. Mr. Frisby is the father of Mrs. Carl (Lottie) Carlson. Carl-son. During the past summer Mr. and Mrs. Frisby have been residing in Pleasant Grove at 292 N. 1st W. His wife and twelve sons and daughters remain of their sixteen children. One of their daughters was killed kill-ed just five months ago in an auto accident in Calif. Mr. Frisby died Friday at 11:15 a.m. at the home of a son, Cliff Frisby in Heber, apparently of a heart ailment. He has been in bad health for the past three and a half years. Survivors include three sisters, one brother, 37 grandchildren, grand-children, and 13 great grandchildren. grandchild-ren. Mr. Frisby was born in Coalville, October 14, 1876, son of Lorenzo and Charlotte Sweeting Frisby, and married Mary Ellen Watkins July 4. 1899 in Midway, Wasatch County. He was highway construction superintendent for years, also state Fish and Game warden. He also farmed for several years near Spokane, Spo-kane, Washington. Burial was in Heber City Cemetery, Cem-etery, under direction of Olpin Mortuary. |
