Show Warnicks Hold i Open House Pres. and Mrs. Merrill N. War-nick War-nick held open house Friday evening even-ing Sept. 8, honoring their son, Merrell Eldredge Warnick and his bride, nee Mary Waneda Mason of Parker, Indiana. The rooms where the newly-weds newly-weds and their party received relatives rel-atives and friends were decorated with large baskets of colorful glads and lovely roses. In the receiving line were the bride and groom, Pres. and Mrs. Warnick, Mr. and Mrs. John Mason Mas-on of Yorktown, Indiana, and Miss Effie Warnick. The attractive bride was gowned gown-ed in an original model of white satin designed on princess lines with high collar, French lace yoke, and trimmed' with crystal beads. Her tiered lace trimmed veil, fell from a coronet of seed pearls. On ; her shoulder she pinned lovely baby ba-by orchids. Greeting friends in the garden were Mr. and Mrs. Reed H. Walker, Walk-er, Mr .and Mrs. A. P. Warnick, Carl Warnick and Mack Oster-gaard. Oster-gaard. Warren Kirk, accompanied accompan-ied by Mrs. Kirk sang vocal numbers num-bers and recorded music played. The table in the sewing room was covered by a silk damask cloth and was centered with lovely roses in a crystal bowl. Here Mrs. Arza Adams presided. Young ladies lad-ies who served were Misses Nancy Lee Warnick, Kathleen Allen, Ar-lene Ar-lene Harris and Shirley Swensen. Taking care of the bride's book were Carl Warnick and Suzanne Walker. The lovely gift display was arranged by Mrs. Mack Oster-gaard, Oster-gaard, Mrs. Paul Adams, and Mrs. Earl Mathews, assisted by Julia Ann Warnick and Mark Warnick. The young couple are at home at the Eskins Apartments in Manila. |
