Show Mrs. D. B. Thome entertained her sisters and sisters-in-law at a very pleasant afternoon social on Thursday, April 20. Friendly chat and childhood reminescing followed by a tasty luncheon completed com-pleted a very happy afternoon. Present were Mrs. Emily K. Aston, Mrs. Martin T. Keetch, both of Orem; Mrs. Luella Cullimore of Provo; Mrs. Nettie Meachem of American Fork; Mrs. May K. Walker, Mrs. Jennie Keetch and " the hostess. Local News Word was received by Mrs. Eda L. Hardman of the birth of a grandson to Mr. and Mrs. Martin L. Dittmore, born April 18 at Leo-nia, Leo-nia, New Jersey. Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Hunt have returned from Southern California and other points. Mr. and Mrs. Hunt left here with Sons of Utah Pioneer trek and since then have been visiting with their daughters and families in California and in Las Vegas, Nevada. Enroute home they visited in St. George and Enterprize and at Cedar City they were met by Mr. and Mrs. Keith Hunt who drove their parents home. |
