Show Friends Pay Last Respects To A. Lee Harper Relatives and friends gathered Monday afternoon at the First Ward Chapel to pay last tributes of respects to the memory of Abraham Abra-ham Lee Harper, died April 20, from injuries sustained in an automobile auto-mobile accident earlier in the week. Bishop Boyd Fugal of Manila ward was in charge. The opening number was an organ solo "Going Home," played by Miss Beverly Wright. Invocation was offered by Steven Adams. The first speaker was Joseph Larson, who spoke of Mr. Harper as an honest man; one who in everyday life practiced pure and undefiled religion in keeping the Golden Rule. Warnick Swenson, former Bishop Bish-op of Manila ward paid tribute to the memory of Mr. Harper as a retiring but very efficient worker in the ward, and appreciation for the family's loyal support whenever when-ever called upon by those in authority. auth-ority. Joseph Olpin of Heber, a lifetime life-time neighbor of the Harper family, fam-ily, reminesced of early memories, of the departed and his family, and bore an inspiring testimony of the gospel and the goodness of God. - Musical - numbers - interspersing the speakers were a vocal solo "In The Garden of Tomorrow" sung by Mrs. Maurine Andrews, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Kay Adams, also a vocal trio, "In The Garden" by Mrs. Andrews, George Monson and Ivan Monson, accompanied by Mrs. Adams. After closing remarks of appreciation ap-preciation and sympathy by Bishop Bish-op Fugal, Mrs. E. Ray Brown sang the closing number "O My Father." Fath-er." She was accompanied by Mrs. Lucy Haycock, who also played prelude and portlude organ music. Benediction was pronounced by President Merrill N. Warnick, and President Vilace Radmall offered the dedicatory prayer in the PI. Grove City Cemetery, where burial directed by Olpin Mortuary took place. Flowers were arranged by the Manila ward Sunday School. Pallbearers Pall-bearers included Gale Harper, Charles Harper, Wendell Nelson, Max Harper, Leonard Mayhew and Donnell Harper. Survivors include his widow, two daughters, Mrs. Ward H. (Kath-ryn) (Kath-ryn) Welling and Mrs. Donald ( An-nis) An-nis) Annis; two grandchildren, Edward Ed-ward Lee Annis and Sandra Welling, Well-ing, all of Salt Lake City; two sisters, Mrs. Grace H. Nelson, of Woods Cross, and Mrs. Rose H. Smith of Pleasant Grove; one brother, Clifton Harper, Pleasant Grove. Among out of town relatives and frends -who attended the funeral of A.
