Show 'Trusted, Jried, and True Centennial Play Set for High School Monday; DUP To Sponsor ; ... i r" ' ' rmi iiiiinwiiiriiiii niih htm wnif" ' i The Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, Pio-neers, local camp,, are sponsoring the presentation of a very fine play on Monday, May 1st at the Pleasant Grove High School at 8 p.m. The play, a roaring melodrama, melo-drama, is being presented by the centennial players of American Fork. It has been played 4 nights to overflowing houses in the American Amer-ican Fork high school. It includes a picked cast, chosen from all wards in American Fork. In sponsoring the play here the local DUP will sell tickets and share in the proceeds. The mirth provoking melodrama is directed by Theda Holindrake with the following cast. Nellie Lovelace, as sweet as she is tender, Geraldine Penrod; Adam Oakhart, as brave as he is bashful, Garth Read; Widow Lovelace, as sweet as she is simple, Edna Birk; Monro Burgatroyd, as wild as he is wicked, wick-ed, Jared Keller; Ida Rhinegold, as deep as she is dyed, Beth Green; Mookie McGuggins, as rude as he is rustic, Frank Greenwood; Mrs. Upson Asterbilt, of New Port and Brooklyn, Beth Mortensen; Leonie, her daughter, a Madison Avenue belle, Ramah Peterson; Fleurette, the French maid (ooo la la) Gladys Wilkinson; Little Nelle, never knew who her father was, Lana Marie Peterson. Tickets will be 50c and 25c and everyone is invited and urged to support this very fine play. Born a century too late, but you see them on the stage in the Centennial melodrama, "Trusted, Tried and True,' Monday May 1, in the Pleasant Grove High School.
