Show LINDON BRIEFS !i 1 1 By Vi Ostergaard j LINDON ! Mr. and Mrs. Willard Johnson ' spent the weekend with Mr. John-1 son's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse! L. Roberts at Tremonton. J Mr. Harold Erickson and sonl David suffered first degree burns i about the face and hands when Mrs. Erickson released the lid on a pressure cooker. Mr. Erickson i was confined to the American Fork hospital for a few days. Both, ! however, are better now. Mrs. Martrueriet Harris is home again after a three week jaunt thru the intennountain states. She also visited with her son Lionel at the Colorado Experiment Station while in Denver and other points of interest there. A testimonial farewell was held Sunday nite prior to the departure depart-ure of Nyle Harris who will serrve on a Canadian Mission. Speakers were William C. Smith, Miss Es-telle Es-telle Fenlon and Bishop Gillman. We all wish Nyle success in his work. Miles Jacklin suffered a broken arm when he jumped too high ' and landed in the wrong place. The Dick Walkers, entertained the Edward Webb family from Santa Ana, California and Mrs. C. W. Stribble and daughter from Howell, Michigan last Friday and Saturday. Dick took the guests over the loop, which was a delightful delight-ful ride a"s well as one of pictures- que tTeauty of Indian summer. To round off the day Mrs. Walker Walk-er served one of her special trout dinners the trout weighing seven pounds, or was it eight? |
