We sped along and viewed the magnificant scenery. The various colors blended very well together. Pines mingled with Aspens made a scene that can't be described. Soon w,e viewed the lake. It's majestic blue with the purple hills as a background was indeed an' inspirational sight. After arriving at the "Conders" cabin and unpacking the food, we went for a trip on the lake. The Canadian Honkers and Hell-divers Hell-divers were ,very interesting to watch. Dinner was very delicious and after af-ter that we listened to the radio. We prepared for bed and slept until 5 a.m. We arrived at the school house at 8:00. Although we weren't very shining examples at school, it was an experience we shall never forget. We thank you, Miss Conder, for a swell time. |
