Fork At the close of yesterdays games and with the football season more than half over, Pleasant Grove Vik- ings maintained their unbroken ' record to stay in a tie with Lincoln for first place with 4 wins and no losses. Pleasant Grove did not show as well yesterday against the Lehi team as well as they have in some earlier games, but some Lehi fumbles and interceptions of of passes, plus some few moments of good play proved enough to gain the margin of victory. Pleasant Grove will have to pick up a little to beat Lincoln. Last Friday's Results Pleasant Grove 13, American Fork 6. Lincoln 20, Lehi 0. Payson 18, Springville 6 BY High 20, Spanish Fork 8. Whatever illusions American Fork had about their football team beating the Vikings were rudely shattered last Friday on the Caveman Cave-man field by a team of resolute P. G. players. The P G win 13-6 enabled en-abled them to retain first place along with Lincoln, in the league standing. Westover, Baxter, and Matthews picked up yards almost at will. ' The first touchdown came in the y second quarter when Baxter went over the line ' after a pass from jr Westover. The conversion, a place , kick by Westover, was good. .., ' 1 j A serious A.
