The first meeting of the Junior Red Cross was held Tuesday evening at the city hall with thirty-three girls present. Ora Chipman presided presid-ed and gave an inspirational and enlightening en-lightening talk to the young members mem-bers who are ready and anxious to do their part in the work. The girls had their first lesson in knitting, wi,th enthusiasm rurrning high. Instructing In-structing them in this art were Mrs. Grace Chipman, Mrs. Ellen Tracy, Mrs. Dick King, Mrs. Lucinda Barratt, Bar-ratt, Miss Dorothy Chipman, Mrs. Betha Storrs and Miss Lillie Shafter. All girls between the ages of 9 and 17 are invited to attend and do their part in the Junior Red Cross work.
