Show r - On Thursday evening, June 11, the Pleasant Grove Lions club and their ladies held their annual meeting meet-ing for the installation of new officers of-ficers elected some time ago. The affair, held in the second ward recreation hall, opened with a luncheon served at 7:30 p. m. with Wesley Jense as toast-master, toast-master, introducing the following program: Toast to the incoming Lion president, by Edith Anderson; toast to the incoming lady Lion president, Louis Olpin; musical reading, Barbara Jenson, accompanied accompa-nied by Ann Alene Jacobs; humorous humor-ous reading, Wm. C. Smith; vocal duet, Mrs. S. W. Hilton and Mrs. E. H. Christensen, accompanied by Carol Smith. Ray S. Merrill had charge of the installation of new officers which included: President, Don Mack Dalton; first vice president, H. W. Jacobs; second vice president, George B. Peay; tail twister, Louis Olpin; Lion tamer, E. H. Christensen; two- year directors,' Rulon Brimhall and S. ' W. Hilton; holdover directors, G. Y. Anderson and FJwood Allen, secretary and treasurer, H. E. Brad-, ley. Outgoing officers are: President, Wesley Jense; first vice president, Wm. C. Smith; second vice president, presi-dent, Ertman Christensen; secretary-treasurer, H. E. Bradley;' directors, di-rectors, Alma Kirk'and Louis Olpin. The- liiw officers of thc'"Lai; --a- Lions are: Mrs. Geneve Dalton, preisdent; Mrs. Zella Peay, vice president; Mrs. Beulah Bradley, secretary-treasurer.
