Show Ita&erry lay T Ek Mi feit Tterem Jug 115 Special Invitation Is Extended , To All Former Residents Final arrangements and last minute min-ute details for Utah's first major celebration for 1942 ULah Strawberry Straw-berry day, which will be held next Thursday, June 18, has been taken care of by the various committees, according to reports made Wednesday Wednes-day evening. A beautiful array of colorful streamers decorate the main streets, with decorators busy contacting local lo-cal business houses to decorate their places. The Pleasant Grove chamber of commerce extends a special invitation invita-tion to former townspeople to return re-turn home for the big celebration and renew friendships of long standing. The program for the day includes many fine attractions which will please both young and old. The parade, more colorful than ever this year, will be held at 10 a. m. and 6:30 p. m. Beautiful, colorful floats, peppy bands and United Stats army unnits are participating. par-ticipating. Free open air show, 3:30 p. m., 8:30 p. m Lloyd B. Hust and his Wonder Dogs. Sports and games, 2:00 p. m. Races and contests for kiddies; 2:00 p. m., girls' softball; 4:30 p. m., men's softball. 12:00 noon 10,000 servings of strawberries to be given away; rich ""'hiVl" .uiCl sugar. - ' 9:00 p. m Official dance, Howard Nelson's orchestra, big open air dance hall.
