Show American Legion And Auxiliary Enjoy Meeting The American Legion and Auxiliary Aux-iliary held a joint meeting last Wednesday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Don Mack Dalton aon the American Fork canyon road, with George Hunter, post commander in charge. The affair opened with a flag pole ceremony on the lawn, directed direc-ted by Department Commander Hary Hickman of Salt Lake City. Post Commander Hunter first introduced Department Adjutant A. S. Horsley of Salt Lake City, who in turn introduced other department de-partment officers, Department Commander Harry Hickman; Wm. J. Higbee, retiring National Committeeman Com-mitteeman and his wife; Allison Bills, incoming national commttee- man; and hs wife Melba; Auxiliary-president Auxiliary-president president of Midvale; . , Otto E. Weisley, Utah Labor delates de-lates board; H. E. McChane de partment membersrip committee, and his wife, Golda, dept. secretary of the Auxiliary; Ernest Crocker, Liason department officer. H. E. McNeil, department war emergency relief and his wife Mabel P. McNeil,' department first vice president. Speakers of the evening were: Dept. Commander Harry Hickman, and Otto Weisley, who stressed the theme of the meeting. "Our Responsibility Re-sponsibility Now And After The War." After the meeting a social hour was enjoyed and refreshments served ser-ved to about 50 Legion and Auxiliary Auxil-iary members. . |
