Show I I Seventies Enjoy ! Outing In 'Canyon Wednesday Ti.e lovely r.i.-tic gr"..:.d., around Mutual Led was a scene of fun a.-.d frolic Wednesday evening, lu :i ti.e members of the 4 ith yu 'rum of Seventy held their .summer .sum-mer outing there. While the sunlight still .shimmered .shim-mered through the trees, a sumpt-ious sumpt-ious supper was served and a spicy program directed by F. 15. Newman enjoyed by about forty quorum members and their wives. The informal program began with community singing led" by E. A. Beck, with accordian accompaniment accompan-iment by Rulon BrimhalL President Presi-dent W. W. Warnick gave a brief history of the 44th quorum, dating dat-ing back ot the early 50's and told some interesting and amusing amus-ing indcidents, relating to the 44th. Vocal solos, including "Trees" and 'Indian Love Call" were sung by Mrs. B. Stokeg. Mr. Newman called on different members to relate their most em-parrassing em-parrassing experience. Responses were made by Milton Adamson, Ir-vin Ir-vin Jensen, Warnick Swenson, Leslie Les-lie Smith, and Mrs. Wm. Richardson. Richard-son. A short talk was give by Vilace Radmall, Senior President of the Quorum; George Paul read selections selec-tions from Harrison R. Merrill's "Dusk on the Desert." Other musical numbers an accordian accor-dian solo by Rulon Brimhall, and a guitar and mouth-organ number by Owen Christiansen. Before the group returned to their homes cantaloupes were served ser-ved by the quorum. Quorum members and guests enjoying en-joying the very pleasant affair were: Messrs and Mesdamcs: W. W.
