Show FORMER PLEASANT GROVE RESIDENT DIES' IN SALT LAKE CITY' SUNDAY Friends here have been notified of. the death of Marion L. Corbett, a former resident of Pleasant Grove who died Sunday in a Salt Lake hospital, of a heart ailment. He was bom in Salt Lake City on Jan. 20, 1864, a son of Samuel and Camilla Corbett. When a young man he moved to Kama?, where he helped pioneer Summit county, being active in both civic and church affairs. He was for 25 years Bishop of the Kamas Ward. Some years ago he retired from farming and stockraising and moved mov-ed with his family to Pleasamt Grove, where he lived for several years before moving to Salt Lake City. Surviving Mr. Corbett, are his wife, Martha Woolstenhulme Corbett, Cor-bett, and the following sons and daughters: Dr. M. L. Corbett, Los Angeles, Calif; Robert Corbett of Provo, Mrs. Martha Atkinson, of Kamas, Mrs. Freda Bradshaw, Mrs. Thora Page, and Mrs. Rada Atkinson of Emmett, Idaho, and Mrs. Reva Anderson of Provo. Funeral servviees were conducted conduct-ed in the 15th Ward Chapel in Rait Lake City Wednesday and in the Francis Ward Chapel in Summit Sum-mit SCounty on Thursday. |
