This refresher, re-fresher, course has proved to be very interesting to those who take it. They are learning things which they could never do because they would not settle down, but being seniors they almost have to. Mr. Rogers is doing an excellent job trying to pound facts and figures fig-ures into their skulls which grows thicker every day. The nearest thing to Frankenstein ever produced in a high school. Mrs. Jacobs is responsible for this harrowing production of headless head-less people, raving idiots, ghastly screams and wierd lighting effects. All this comes under the spine chilling name of "Hobgoblin House." Mystery and suspense are at hand throughout the entire play. Doa't miss it but on the other hand if your heart is bad, your conscience bothering you, your physical condition run down, don't sacrifice your life for the morals of your school, unless you think the world is better" off without you. EXCHANGE ASSEMBLY Exchange assembly has been planned by the student body officers offic-ers of Pleasant Grove and Lincoln. The Lincoln students will present their program here next, Wednesday Wednes-day April 11, and will probably be here sometime in the morning. Ourstudents are planning a program pro-gram to take to Lincoln on Friday, April 25. The student body officers plan to use some of the best talent in the school in order to put on an interesting assembly for Lincoln. Assemblies and activities between be-tween the different schools help to promote friendship and cooperation for the students of the schools. We could stand to be a little more friendly with Lincoln!! Couldn't we? SPEECH MEET Lincoln was a busy school last Friday for the speech and Debate meets were again held in that school as it has been in former years during the war. The students were allowed to visit the rooms when they were not busy but they were not allowed to go in while classes were in session. ses-sion. Afree lunch was provided for |
