Show Proclamation On Fishing Issued By State (l'ih other than (.nine I'isli) The Fish and (lame commission of the1 State of Utah, having made due and thorough investigations ami received recommendations I rum conservation officers of the department and other competent persons, find that the following seasons, bag limits, and other regulations reg-ulations governing the taking of fish, other than game fish, in the state of Utah are necessary: and that certain changes in bag limits and areas opened to fishing should be made in the interest of conservation. conser-vation. Therefore it is deemed advisable to make certain changes in the fishing season on certain waters and the taking of certain varieties of fish and the bag limits otherwise other-wise regulated under Sections 1 30-0-32, 30-0-33 and 30-0-34 Utah Code, Annotated 1943. Now, we, the Fish and Game ; Commission of the State of Utah, by virtue of the authority vested in us by Section 30-0-7, Utah Code, Annotated 1943, do hereby proclaim pro-claim and declare that it shall be unlawful to take catfish, yellow perch and common fish (other than game fish) during the hours from, 4:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., until further fur-ther notice, and that the bag or creel limit shall be not more than 20 fish of any or all varieties of common fish Including catfish and perch in any one day. The possession possess-ion limit shall be the same as the daily bag limit. The waters proclaimed open to fishing until further notice, shall be Kprdani River; Utah Lake; Mona Reservoir; Sevier River, below be-low the Joseph-Monroe Bridge; U. B. Reservoir or Sevier Bridge Res- ervoir; Green River from a point ? miles above the Victory Highway Bridge -at Jensen, Utah; Duchesne River; below junction with Strawberry Straw-berry River;" Bear River below Cutler Dam; Weber River below powerhouse in lower canyon; Min orsville Reservoir; Colorado River; San Juan River; Borham Reservoir; Reser-voir; Montez Reservoir; Gunnison Reservoir and Redmond Lake. Be it further provided that all game fish except catfish and yellow yel-low perch are hereby protected until further proclaimed. Any violation of the regulations of this proclamation shall be termed ter-med a misdemeanor and this proclamation pro-clamation shall have the full force and effect of the law.
