" i Impressive funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon in the Third ward LDS chapel for 1 Dudley LeRoy White, 64, Who died Tuesday March 25 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Alberta Luke. The service, directed by Daryl Huish of the ward bishopric, began at 2 o'clock with Mrs. Louise Neil-son Neil-son and Mrs. Mary Varney singing the opening number, "I Need Thee Every Hour." They were accompanied accom-panied by Mrs, Avis West. Victor Barney offered the invocation. George Paul of the bishopric was the first speaker. He was followed by J. C. Hilton. Both spoke of the kindly disposition and helpfulness of the departed and offered words of faith. and encouragement to the family. Musical numbers interspersing the speakers was a violin solo by Ramona Jacobs accompanied by Winona Kirk. The closing number, "Abide With Me" was sung by Ida May and Arlene Rasmussen accom. panied by Mrs. Mary NeVes. Benediction was pronounced by Joseph Robinson. Burial, directed by Olpin Mortuary Mort-uary was made in the Pleasant Grove City cemetery where W. H. Anderson dedicated the grave. |
