Show Cadmus Club Celebrates Pan American Day Mrs. Burton W. Musser of Salt Lake City was the guest speaker of Cadmus Club on Monday evening even-ing March 31 at the First ward LDS Chapel. A large and appreciative apprec-iative audience of Cadmus Club members and guests were present to enjoy the many fine thoughts she gave on Pan-American Day. The opening prayer was offered by A.. P. Warnick. The meeting was conducted by President Sytha W. Johnson, who Introduced Richard Rich-ard Bigelow of Provo, a very talented, talen-ted, young pianist who played the following selections during the evening: ev-ening: The Organ Prelude by Bach, Malaguena by Le Cuno, Prelude by Rachmaninoff, Hungarian by MacDowell and Romance by Sieb-.elius. Sieb-.elius. "'President Johnson announced that Ina Page and Daisy Nielsen were responsible for the evenings entertainment, and asked Mrs. Page to introduce the speaker of the evening. Miniature favors with the Latin American touch were pinned on the ladies as they arrived, by club officers. of-ficers. These favors were tiny rep- licas of Carmen Miranda, which were designed by Laurena Warnick Margaret Hayes, Ella Jackson, Ilia Swenson and Ina Page. There were present representatives represent-atives of the four federated Clubs of Lehi, the four federated clubs of American Fork, the two federated feder-ated clubs of Orem and the federated feder-ated Mothers' Study Club of Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove. Present also were two very prominent federated club leaders ' of the state, Mrs. Sterling Ercan-brack Ercan-brack of Provo, who is president ui ute caaie leueratea ClUDB, ana Mrs. J. Erval Christense-n of Orem, president of the first district of federated clubs. Mrs. Ercanbrack spoke & few words of greeting to the group. At the conclusion of the program in the chapel club members and guests retired to the recreational . hall where light refreshments were served informally from a long serving ser-ving table, appropriately'decorat-ed appropriately'decorat-ed also with the Latin-American theme. Refreshment arrangements were under the .direction of Lois West, chairman of the social committee, com-mittee, assisted by her committee members. ....
