Show Mott's Honored By Aaronic Priesthood Group Monday evening the first ward Adult Aaronic Priesthood members and their wivfes honored Mr. Albert Mott and his wife at a social which was the concluding meeting of the group for this season. Mr. Mott was honored upon retiring from the work of church custodian for the first ward. The early part of the evening was taken up by Mr Frank McMaines who addressed the group on "Alaska." He exhibited relics made by the Indians and natives of that country. Mr. McMaines Was a newspaper correspondent for 46 years, having traveled In 28 foreign countries, and was very Interesting to those who heard him speak on Alaska and those things which are peculiar to that country. The latter part of the evening was spent playing play-ing Easter games. Plrzes were awarded to Stanley Roberts, Clyde Schreiver, "Daryl Proctor, Mrs. H. C. Jensen, , and Morris Madsen. Tributes were paid to lfoss and to his wife by various ones present, and their work of the past 15 years was highly praised. They were presented pre-sented with a beautiful blooming primrose plant at the cdnclusion of the social. Refreshments were served to the entire gro'up. |
