Show Local Scouts To Honor 34th Birthday Anniversary The Timpanogos District Boy Scouts are busy making plans for their 34th birthday, commencing the week of February 6th and running currently for that week. Many of the fine attributes which set the stage for bringing of the Scout movement to America will be reborn amidst a tidal wave of demonstrations, window displays, "good turns" and sacred services. Sunday, February 6th, will be devoted to Special Sunday services ser-vices honoring the '"Founders" of Boy Scouts of America. Talks on scouting will be featured in all public meeting during that week. Parents are being invited to ' spend one night with their boys and this will be high-lighcd by a banquet in each troop. Climaxing the weeks activities will be the Mammoth Scout Circus Cir-cus to be held in the Pleasant Grove High School Gymnasium on February 10th. Special features feat-ures of this night's activities will be a parade of colors, demonstrations demonstra-tions in scout handicrafts and pioneering contests in First Aid. fire making and rope events. Look to the Boy Scouts during the week of Februuary 6th for the fine "Empire Builders of Tomorrow." |
