Show Funeral Is-Held Monday For Mrs. Dickerson Funeral rites for Mrs. Sarah Dickerson, 7 6, Wife of Joseph Dickerson were conducted Monday Mon-day in the First ward LDS chapel, with Earl A. Beck of the Second ward Bishopric in charge. The impressive service began at two o'clock with Mrs. LaRue Morton and Kenneth Robinson singing Beautiful Sunset. They were accompanied by Irene Shelley Shel-ley Ellison. Invocation was offered off-ered by C. A. Gammett. The first speaker was Joseph Olpin of Heber, who recalled loving lov-ing memories of his association with the Dickerson children, and expresssed faith in the gospel of Christ and life hereafter. F. B. Newman expresssed sympathy for the family and paid warm tribute to Mrs. Dickerson and her husband hus-band and thoughts on the value of friends and knowing where they stand. Closing remarks were made by j Mr. Beck, who stressed the thot Success in life is not measured by what we get, but by what we give. Musical numbers Interspersing the speakers were a violin solo by Ray Waltstager, accompanied by Mary Humphries; vocal solo That Wonderful Mother of Mine, sung by Ray Shelley, accompanied accompan-ied by Irene S. Ellison ,and a vocal solo, The Lords Prayer, by Warren Kirk, accompanied by Mrs. Kirk. Benediction was pronounced pro-nounced by Duane Harper. At the graveside in the Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove City cemetery, Lisle Tregaskis played a trombone solo Brahms Lullaby and Wiesley Dickerson, Dick-erson, a son offered the dedicatory dedica-tory prayer. 'Pallbearers, all close relatives of the departed were Dean Peterson, Pet-erson, 'Gene MeCown, Vance West, Ford West, Clay Miller and Melvin Memmet. Mrs. Dickerson died at her home on Thursday October 12, following a lingering illness. |
