Show Funeral Services Held For James Adamson Solemn & impressive rites were held Thursday at the Third Ward Chapel for James C. Adamson, who died suddenly at his home on Monday March 28. With Bishop J. S. Walker in charge, the services began with a vocal duet, "A Perfect Day" by Mrs. J. E. Hardman and Mrs. Le-land Le-land Beers, accompanied by Mrs. Owen Humphries. Invocation was asked by Wm. W. Lim, followed by a vocal solo, "There Comes Another Day" by Mrs. Delbert Chipman, accompanied accompan-ied by Mrs. Humphries. The first speaker was Lloyd B. Adamson, a nephew, who after reading a short biography of the life of the departed, spoke feelings feel-ings of the entire Adamson family's fam-ily's love and appreciation of "Uncle Jim." Mrs. Lucille H. Walker, a life long neighbor paid high tribute to Mr. Adamson for his kindness and consideration to his neighbors. Bishop Joseph S. Walker eulog-zed eulog-zed Mr. Adamson as a home and community builder, and also of his loyal suport of his church. President W. W. Warnick, who . in his childhood and youth lived just over the fence from the Adamson Adam-son family, recalled early remin-escences remin-escences of days gone by, and gave fine thots on pre-existence and the life to come. 1 Two vocal solos "Silverhaired Daddy'" and "Ive Read of A beautiful beau-tiful City" was sung by Ivern Pyne, accompanied by Mrs. Melba Pyne. Prelude music was played by Mrs. Laverl Mecham accompanied by Mrs. Mray Neves, violin. Beendiction was pronounced by Fred Scholes of the Ward Bishopric Bishop-ric and the dedicatory prayer at the grave in the Pleasant Grove Citv Cemetery was given by John S. Holdaway. Pall bearers, all nephews of the deoarted were: James Simper Harold Har-old Hardman, Howard Adamson, Myron Jense, Wayne Adamson, and Von Adamson.
