MILLER-01 MILLER-01 El) IN SALT LAKE CITYj HIRIAL IN LOCAL CEMETERY Iirief graveside services were conducted Saturday afternoon in the local city cemetery for Mrs. Eleanor Hackhug Miller, widow of George Miller who died in Salt Lake City on Monday, May 15, at the home of her daughter Mrs. Leota Woodruff. She was born in Pleasant Grove, on January 29, 1877, to James W. and Charlotte Madson Backhus, and spent her girlhood and y.oung womanhood here. Twenty eight years ago she moved with her husband hus-band to Salt Lake City, where she has since' resided. Her husband died some years ago. . She was a member of the LDS church where she was active in Relief Society work. Survivors include 4 sons Leonard Leon-ard J. Miller of Ray, Arizona; Geo. L. and Henry E. Miller, both of Salt Lake City; and Roy Miller with the U, S- Sea-bees overseas; three daughters Mrs. Viola Huntsman, Hunts-man, Lehi: Mrs. Pearl ITowell, Draper and Mrs. Leota Woodruff, Salt Lake City; two sisters Mrs. Bertha Jackson, Salt Lake City, nnd Mrs. Lottie Harris of Pleasant Orover jmd four brothers, Thomas Backhus, Salt Lake City, and James, Jam-es, George, and Albert Backhus, of Pleasant Grove, |
