Show DAUGHTER'S OF PIONEERS f HOLD MEETING I - The Daughters of Utah Pioneers, met Wednesday, Febraury 24, at the home of Mrs. S. A. Kirk. ' , The- meeting began at 3.30 o'clock o'-clock with Captain Pearl West in charge, and opened with the audience aud-ience singing "OnWard Christian Soldiers." Prayer was offered by Mrs. Eva T. Fage. "The Star Spangeld Banner" was the next number sung by the audience aud-ience with Chorister Cleon Kirk directing and Mrs. Vilate West at the piano. Mrs. Rose B. Hayes presented the lesson on Quaint Pioneer Cust-ome, Cust-ome, discussing IOld Folks Days, LDedication of Pioneer Homes, Family reunion, Indian War Encampments, En-campments, etc, , Oter entertainemnt numbers consisted con-sisted of a piano duet, using two pianos. "Teh Skeleton Dance," by Miss Winona Monson and Miss Emeline Kirk: a Vocal solo, "Lock f . Yomond" by Warren Kirk, accompanied accom-panied by Kathryn Kirk; Bene-dication Bene-dication was pornounced by Mrs, Vilate A. West. , |
