Show Announce Plans For Stake Gold And Green Ball Plans are being carried oJ$ to' make this year's Gold and Green i'all, which will be held on Sat-urdiiXt, Sat-urdiiXt, March. 6 iri thtLjiig'h school gymnasium equally as outstanding as those held in other years, and yet be conservative in the use of scarce decorating materials. In keeping with the theme, "The Ramparts We Watch", a very colorful color-ful floor-show is being arranged in whi'jh a Qpueen of each ward will participate. Departing from the usual custom of choosing a girl to reign as queen over the Ball, there will be six queens, each representing re-presenting one of the Allied Nations, Nat-ions, together with the Stake Queen who has-been selected by the Stake Board and will rule as "Miss Liberty." Nations have been assigned to the wards as follows: United States, Stat-es, Manila Ward; China, First Ward; Great Britian Second Ward; Pan. American, Third Ward; Nat- ions in Exile, Lindon ward; Russia, Windsor Ward. In , addition to choosing a queen to represent these countries, each ward is also preparing a dance-that is characteristic charac-teristic of the country they am representing which will be present- " ed during the floor show. The committees that have been chosen to work under the direction of Fern Smith, Y. L. M. I. A. President Presi-dent and Calvin Swenson, Y. M. Y. I. A.
