Show Couple Honored At Reception Here A delightful reception was given Friday evening in the Second ward chapel by Mr. and Mrs. William Peterson and Alma Peck of Orem, honoring the recent marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Jay Peck (nee Eileen Peterson). Receiving the guests were Alma Peck, father of the bridegroom; June Sorenson, attired in red taffeta; taf-feta; the parents of the bride; La-Priel La-Priel Covington, bridesmaid, who wore a delicate gown of turquoise chiffon with a harmonizing corsage. The bride was lovely in a frock of white lace and net. She carried a bouquet of pink roses, and wore a matching rose in her hair. The matron of honor, Mrs. Wendell Skinner, wore green taffeta and wore pink roses. Wendell Skinner was best man, and Morris Stanley, usher. Hyrum Robertson was master of ceremonies for the program that was presented. Numbers included a clarinet solo by Betty Johnson of Lehi, accompanied by Merle Sutherland, Suth-erland, a vocal solo by Mrs. Ora Chipman of American Fork, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Mary Nelson; a reading read-ing by William C. Smith; and a vocal vo-cal duet by Shirley and Dorothy Phillips, with guitar accompaniment. accompani-ment. Dainty refreshments were dispensed dispens-ed by Gloria Wadley and Anna Rose McMillan, under the direction of Mrs. Owen Thornton, and Mrs. Edward Ed-ward Sorenson.
