Show Stake Play, 'Under Twenty' Pleases Large Audience Here Groesbeck, as Ted Rutherford, who is looking for an easy way to make money but hesitates to marry because be-cause he would have to go to work; Beth Rushton as Rannie, the outspoken out-spoken Irish maid; and Junius Reynolds Rey-nolds as Bill Boyd, the nightwatch-man. nightwatch-man. For a few minutes after the curtain cur-tain rose the play began, the actors apeared to be going ahead cautiously. cau-tiously. However, the audience was All the elements which go toward making a top-notch entertainment were combined in. the Alpine stake play, "Under Twenty." which was presented Tuesday night at the high school aud'.torium, under the direction of Mrj Eunice B. The three-act comedy, as presented pre-sented by the loci! theatrical group, appealed to the audience because of its lively story maiked by unexpected unex-pected twists, its sparkling dialogue dashed with humor and originality, and its variety of character types. Added to these were the excolirnt performances by the entire cast which assured the success of the p:esentation. Betty Houston made a hit with the audience as Fecks Fai num, the 'little angel'' who attempts to straighten out the family's love affairs af-fairs and domestic, financial and temperamental troubles, all according accord-ing to "the way they'd do it in the responsive and the players soon were in their parts like seasoned veterans.
