Show o Gammett-Jones Marriage Told Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Gamett announce an-nounce the marriage of their son, Mark, and Miss Evelyn Jones of Las Vegas, Nevada. The ceremony was performed in the Salt Lake temple, Wednesday, April 24. Mr. Gamett, a graduate of the Pleasant Grove high school, attended attend-ed the B. Y. U. for two years, after which he secured a position with the Las Vegas Laundry, where he is now employed. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. V. G. Jones. Since her graduation from the Las Vegas high school, she has been employed as cashier for the Palace Theatre in Las Vegas. The young couple will leave Thursday morning for a honeymoon trip to Sun Valley, Idaho. In compliment to the bride-elect, the groom's mother entertained atj a miscellaneous shower at her home, Monday evening. Gay spring flowers flow-ers decorated the living rooms. Warren Kirk, a member of the B. Y. U. Mask club, read the three act play which he has translated from the German. After the program, pro-gram, an attractively arranged luncheon was served. The forty-five guests were relatives and neighbors of the groom. The bride's mother, Mrs. V. G. Jones was a special guest. She will remain at the Gamett home for a few days visit. |
