He was ' born here October 7, 1876. a son of j Thomas and Anna Halverson Ner-idin- He married Mary Ellen Clegg 'of Heier on December 1C. 1901. She 'was killed in an accident in Provo ranyr-n two years later. On Janu-arv Janu-arv 3, 1905. h married Julia Molt. He was a member of the L. D- S. 1 church, holding the office of Elder. Funeral services for Thomas Hy-nim Hy-nim Nerdin were held at 1 o'clock p. m. Wednesday in the Third ward ! chapel with Bishop's Counselor W. W Lim in charge. The choir sang "O' My Father" as the opening num- ber, after which the invocation was given by Albert J. Olson. A solo, "My Father Knows," was sung by May R. Walker. The speakers were Ezra F. Walker, Hilmer M- Nelson, Alroy Gillman, and John D. Allen of Vineyard and closing remarks by counselor W. W. Lim. Other musical numbers were a duet. "Lead Kindly Light" by Hal-van Hal-van Fair and -Dewayne Anderson, and "Rest, Rest for the Weary Soul" by the choir. The benediction was pronounced by Wilford Neves- Interment In-terment was in the Pleasant Grove cemetery, where the grave was dedicated ded-icated by Mr. Clegg of Heber. |
