Show M. I. A. Celebrates Union Of Improvement Era and Young Ladies Journal Wednesday evening the Timpanogos Timpano-gos Slake officers held their union meeting to get ready for the coming winter's work and also to celebrate the union of the Improvement Era and Young forties Journal. The preliminary program consisted of the following numbers: Singing "O Say What is Truth." Invocation J. D. Thorne. Song "0 Divine Redeemer" by John Halliday, Jr., accompanied by Gennleve Fugal. The wedding of the Era and Journ- Reading the prelude Glade Linebaugh. Line-baugh. i 1 . The Bride Miss Elizabeth Green.1 The Groom Ethan Peay. Bridesmaids Bernice Adams, Bessie Bes-sie Low and Rhea Gillman. Pages Ruth Armitstead and Wayne Gamett. Flower girls Thelda Gardiner and Lugene Olpin. Men in Waiting Warnick Swenson and Vance West. Prime Minister Raymond Peterson. Peter-son. At the conclusion of the wedding a saxaphone solo by Ralond Jacobs, ac'companied by Gennieve Fugal and a 20 minute period devoted to department depart-ment work finished the evening's meeting. , Each ward in the stake will put! over a similar program at their opening open-ing meeting next Tuesday night, September 10. |
