Show Dance Revue Successful A large and appreciative audience was given a real treat Thursday night, when Miss Gennivieve Fugal's students were presented in' their dance revue here. The dances, were original, and showed interesting variety va-riety in types, while the unique and beautiful costumes designed by Miss Fugal were a credit to her originality originali-ty and ability. Each number showed careful training and finish. Special lighting and baskets of flowers added to the success of the affair. Margaret Atwood and Marvel Johnson John-son took their parts cleverly as little "Pages". Anna Marie Walker was graceful and pleasing as "Kiss of Spring". The "Parade of The Mar-rionettes" Mar-rionettes" was cleverly done by Mary Christiansen, Reah Walker and Claire Nell Hilton. Katherine Kirk and Ina Claire Hayes were veritable cupids in "Cupid's Garden". Little Madge West was appreciated in "Hungarian Rhapsody". The "Highland Fling" by Maxine Walker, Thelma West and Anna Fugal was truly Highlander in snappy performance. "Little Chink" song and dance by John Fugal and baby Louise Walker came In for its full share of applause. Miss Fugal in her dance "Novelette" showed abil ity and versitality. The "Garden Dance" was catchy and well done by Louise West and Anna Fugal. The snappy "Acrobatics" by Anna Boren, who has unusual ability, brought a storm of applause. The "Glow Worm" by a group of eight girls was full of snap, pepi, rythmn and harmony making mak-ing a fitting climax to the program. Parents and patrons alike are generous gen-erous in their praise of the successful revue. |
