Show First Ward Receives Handsome Hand-some Gift From Elders The American Fork First ward was presented with a handsome framed mat to be used for the pictures of the ward missionaries, at the Sunday evening services, August IS. The donors of the gift were the Second quorum of Elders, arid presentation to the Bishop, T. A. Greenwood, was made by Melvin Grant, president of the quorum. The mat has eight compartments init, and will be used to frame the pictures of the missionaries from the First ward. As the Elders leaves for his field of labor Iris picture will be placed in the frame, and when he '"' ' arrives home it will be taken out, and the vacancy replaced with a picture pic-ture of the next departing missionary. '" The honor frame will be hung in a prominent place in .the chapel, and fc"1 will thus keep everyone posted who the missionaries are laboring at that time. At present there are only seven from the ward in the mission field. Each of them were introduced and their pictures presented. A short history telling the time they left, the j approximate time they would be ' " home, place of lagors and a few known experiences were related along with .the introduction of each missionary. Those from the ward who are at (present on missfons and will be the first ones to occupy the compartments in the picture are: Wayne Chadwlck, Melvin Dunkley, Dotta MeBrlde, " '.
