Show Notice To Sportsmen August 10, 1929 To whom it may concern: Under authority of section 27, chapter chap-ter 36, ,Lays of Utah 1923, I, J. Arthur Ar-thur Mecham, state fish and game commissioner of the state of Utah, do hereby declare that: The season during which sage chickens and grouse may be legally killed in the state of Utah shall be from August 31 to September 2, 1929, goth dates inclusive; Also that mourning doves may be legally killed In the state of Utah from August 31 to September 8, 1929, both dates inclusive. Provided that it shall be unlawful to hunt for, or kill any kind of game bird on any of the state game preserves pre-serves except as is hereinafter provided. pro-vided. Provided that from August 31 to September 2, 1929 sage chickens only may be legally killed on that portion of the Wasatch state game preserve described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the Deseret Live Stock company' canal with the Utah-Wyoming state line, thence north along said state line to its intersection with Bear river, riv-er, thence down Bear river to the mouth of Saleratus creek, thence up Saleratus creek to the White Hour,. lane, thence iin a southeasterly direction direc-tion to the Deseret Live Stock company's comp-any's canal, thence along said canal to place of beginning. It shall be unlawful for any person to kill, in one day, or to have in poa-ession poa-ession at any one time, more than six sage hens, or more than six grouse, or more than six birds of both varieties. It shall be unlawful to have In possession, pos-session, or to kill in any one day during dur-ing the open season herein declared, not to exceed fifteen mourning doves in addition to the limit prescribed for sage chickens and grouse.
