Show 0 LEGION DISTRICT ELECTION PROGRAM SET Tire local post of the American Legion, known as Post 49, and the Auxiliary, have made plans for the entertainment of many members of the 4th District of the Legion, who will meet here in convention June 29th. The district meet is for the purpose of electing new officers. J Among the guests expected are: Norman Suns, state commander; Otto Wiseley, state adjutant; Dar-rel Dar-rel T. Lane, National Executive committeeman; com-mitteeman; E. A. Littlefield, manager man-ager of the Veterans Hospital in Salt Lake City, and Orval Singleton, 4th district commander. The meeting will commence at 3 p. m. with a speech of welcome from a city official. Short talks will be made by each of the honor guests and the business of election, taken care of. At 7 p. m. there will be a demonstration demon-stration by the Drum, and Bugle corps after which the Auxiliary will serve a luncheon and the remainder of the evening will be spent in dancing. |
