(Taken From The Files of June 20, 1925) Ten Years Ago Now Seve.-al weddings have taken place during the past week in Pleasant Grove, among them are: Luke Culli-more Culli-more of Lindon, and Miss Laura Parker of Venial, who were married in tire Salt Lake temple Wednesday; Miss Florence Nelson, daughter of James A. Nelson, and Floyd Carter of Provo, were married June 11th; , the marriage of Miss Mary Poulson, ' and Eug'ene B. Wilson of Garfield, ! was solemnized at the home of the ! bride Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock; Mr. and Mrs. J. S- Holdaway announce an-nounce the marriage of their daughter, daugh-ter, Florence, to Vance M. West, son of Mr. and Mrs. N. H. West, which took place June 17th; Clarissa Bcz-zant, Bcz-zant, daughter of Mrs. Hattie Bez-zant, Bez-zant, was married to Eldon Bone of Lehi, June 17th, in the Salt Lake temple. Ten Years Ago Now Postmaster Ralph Guthrie of Salt Lake City, congressman O. E. Leatherwood and Mr. Pfoffenbcrger, Post Office building inspector for this district, were in Pleasant Grove Saturday, June Cth, to inspect the several locations that are available for the post office. Ten Years Ago Now The Pleasant Grove Canning company com-pany will boriin their season's run Tuesday, June 23rd. They will start canning pie cherries and it is hoped there will be sufficient fruit to keep the cannery busy throughout the season. |
