Show C.C.C. News C. C. C. COMMEMORATION PROGRAM APRIL 3rd Plans for the big celebration for Saturday, April 3, are well under way. The people of Pleasant Grove, American Fork, Lehi and surrounding surround-ing communities are encouraged to set aside the afternoon and evening of this day for the purpose of acquainting ac-quainting themselves with the CCC setup and program. To make it more attractive a special program has been arranged with sports and athletic contests for those who desire de-sire to participate. Mr. Oscar A Kirkham will be here and give his message, "Our Responsibility of Youth", at the big Free Barbecue Dinner. The tickets which will admit ad-mit you to the dance in the High School Gym Saturday night will be given out at the camp during the afternoon. The work on the Grove Creek flood control project has been renewed re-newed and twenty-five men will continue this work for the next three weeks. Should floods occur this work will help to lessen the damage that would follow. The real flood control work is being carried on but will take at least ten years to show real results. Superintendent Hyde left Tuesdav on a four day leave. He is spending Utah WS hme in Lat0 Dr Hudes returned to camp from his ten day relief assignment a Indian Springs Camp. He will leave March 21st with one of the troop rains which will return the boys to toeto home station, Fort Knox Kentucky, at the expiration of 8 enrollment which ends March 3 t |
