Show Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Nicholes, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Nicholes and Miss Jean Parker spent Monday in Pro-vo. Pro-vo. Clyde Thornton and Grant nger-soll nger-soll left for the East Saturday morning where Mr. Ingersoll will purchase a new car. Mrs. David L. Grant and two young sons of Salt Lake are visiting this week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Greenwood. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Nicholes spent Sunday and Monday in American Fork, guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alma Olson. Mrs. Joseph Keddington and Miss May Keddington of Salt Lake City spent Saturday, Sunday and Monday Mon-day visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Christensen. Mrs. Ray D. Nicholes left Sunday for New York where she will attend summer school at Columbia University. Univer-sity. In the party who went east Sunday were Superintendent Bate-man Bate-man of the Logan schools and Miss Lucile Burgoyne, a teacher in the Logan school system. Am. Fork Locals Miss Mary Walton is employed temporarily in Thornton Drug Store. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Christensen Christen-sen and small son and Vern Humphries Hum-phries visited Boulder Dam over the holidays. Mr. and Mrs. George Skinner and son, Dale, of Bingham visited over the holidays with Miss Ellen Anderson. Ander-son. . j Miss Eva Baxter, who is employed by the Beneficial Life Insurance Co. in Salt Lake City, spent the holidays holi-days in American Fork with her father. Ruth Jones, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William B. Jones, had her tonsils removed Wednesday morning. morn-ing. Dr. G. S. Richards performed the operation. Mr. and Mrs. Roland Sabey and children of Eureka, Mr. and Mrs. M. D. Steele and son, Don, and Mr. and Mrs. M. W. Steele and two small daughters spent Sunday and Monday Mon-day at Silver Lake up American Fork canyon. The M Men and Gleaner Girls of the Fourth ward enjoyed anouting at Luke Hot Springs, Provo canyon, Friday evening. The group enjoying enjoy-ing sw-imming after which a picnic lunch was served. There were about thirty-five girls and fellows present. Mrs. Lawrence Wimmer of Joseph City, Arizona, is visiting this week with her sister, Mrs. George F. Shelley. Miss Edna Shelley entertained Saturday evening at an attractively arranged lawn party and weenie roast. Out-door games were played after which the guests enjoyed roasting their own weenies. There were fourteen guests present. Members of the H. B. Club and their partners enjoyed a steak fry ' in American Fork, canyon Thursday j evening. Richard Chipman, small son of Mr. and Mrs. Elijah Chipman, had his tonsils taken out by Dr. V. F. Houston Wednesday morning. Little Miss Norma Harry, niece of Mrs. H. E. McNeill, who has been visiting in American Fork the past month returned to her home In Price Sunday. Eldred Nicholes and Miss Fannie Jeffries of Salt Lake and DeVerl Nicholes, who is employed on the survey at Castle Dale, spent Sunday and Monday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Nicholes. Mr. and Mrs. Garth Poulson of Salt Lake and Mr. and Mrs. Golden S. Baxter and baby of Sandy, spent the holidays In American Fork at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Myers. A family parly was held Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Irving L. Pratt when all of their children returned home for a visit. A family dinner wns served by Mrs. Pratt, covers being laid for 35 members of the Immediate family. Those present pres-ent included Mr. and Mrs. Max Pratt and two children of Salt Lake; Mr. and Mrs. Karl Pratt and three children and Mr. nnd Mrs. George Brown and two children all of Murray; Mur-ray; Mr. and Mrs. Myron Brings and small son and Mrs. Weston Iatt and three boys. |
