Show FUNERAL SERVICES FOR JOHN E. CHRISTENSEN Impressive funeral services for John E. Christensen were conducted Wednesday at 2 p. m. in the Sharon ward chapel. Bishop Allen Bellows was in charge. The opening number num-ber was a duet by Lois Downs and R. S. Pyne. Prayer was offered by Bishop Orson Prestwitch. Other musical numbers were a trio by the Vance sisters; violin solo, Alfred Swenson, accompanied by lone Hea-ton; Hea-ton; solo, Ivern Pyne. The speakers were, Theodore Farley Far-ley Jr., A. O. Smoot and J. W. Gill-man, Gill-man, all of whom spoke of Mr. Christensen's honesty, generosity, integrity, and strength as a community com-munity builder, and of the high esteem in which he was held by the people of Orem. The benediction was offered by Bishop O. H. Anderson. The chapel was filled to capacity witfh sympathizing relatives and friends. Pallbearers were, John Fowers, Carl Farley, Nels Jacobson, Sylvester Brewer, George Carrol, and Don Clayton. Interment was in Pleasant Grove cemetery where the grave was dedicated dedi-cated by David O. Allen. o |
