Show City Organizes For President's Presi-dent's Re-employment Drive In line with 12,000 other cities of the United States American Ameri-can Fork is organizing to aid in. President Roosevelt's re-employment drive and in the course of a few days the entire community will be lined up to fight the depression, and the un-employment problem as never before. Ome of the strongest and most far reaching committees ever named in the commivnity is being drafted into this work and with the leadership already chosen the work will be carried thru in fast and sure fashion. ' General Johnson has sent out telegrams urging that this work be carried forth in every city and town of the nation and the response thus far has been 100 percent. His suggested working work-ing committee has been followed precisely here and the following follow-ing is the men and women chosen to carry out the plan. Mayor W. F. Anderson General Mrs. B. N. A meeting of the entire committee membership is scheduled for tonight (Friday evening) at 7:30 p. m. in the city hall. A speaker from the state office will be sent here at that time to discuss the idea hi general and inform the committee of its specific duty. Citizens other than the committee interested in the work are invited to attend the meeting and learn of this new plan to fight un-employment. |
