Show H. S. Prom Outstanding Out-standing Event Ruby Williams, Reporter. A gala night was spent In a make-believe make-believe street of Paris by a large crowd seeking pleasure afforded by the Pleasant Grove High School Junior Promenade April 7. The decorations were fresh and strikingly attractive, showing the initiative of the stalwart Juniors. The decorator whom they had en-! en-! gaged to decorate for them disappointed disap-pointed them the day before the big event. Some what upset but grimly grim-ly determined, the Juniors rallied and spent Thursday night and all day Friday changing their plans from a night of fun in Holland to a still more interesting evening in a typical street of Paris. In the north end of the gym was a large tower. Parisian inns decorated decorat-ed the four corners. Modeled stars sent forth light from overhead. And through gaily colored windows came added illumination. Over the snappy snap-py orchestra was the dark blueness of the sky with, stars and a moon silkouetted against its darkness. The officers in charge were : Reva Downs, EJmer Foutz, Cyril Walker and Dan Peterson. -o |
