Show international Lions Convention The Seventeenth. Annual Convention Con-vention of the International Association Assoc-iation of Lions Clubs to be held at St. Louis, Missouri, July 11-14, gives every indication of being outstanding outstand-ing in the majority of its features. An oppotunity to visit the great Century of Progress Exposition at Chicago following the close of the convention has proved to be a wonderful won-derful attraction for many thousands thous-ands of the more than 80,000 mem-jbers mem-jbers of the Association, and it is confidently predicted that all attendance at-tendance records wall be broken. I An unusually attractive program has been arranged for each day of the session, and the Lions of St. Louis have made extensive preparations prepar-ations to extend true southern hospitality hos-pitality to every delegate and guest. Lions Exposition Herdquarters have been established in the Social Science Division on Northerly Island Is-land across the lagoon at the eastern east-ern end of the 16th street bridge, and Lions and their guests are most cordially invited to make full use of them. Lions Glen L. Taylor and David Davis with their wives will represent the American Fork club at the convention. con-vention. They expect to leave by automobile next Thursday. 0 |
